On November 14, 2016 the Fairfield Bay Yacht Club held Moonlight Martinis at the Marina. We had about fifty members participating at this event. We were able to watch the “Super”moon rise over Sugarloaf Mountain from the Fairfield Bay Marina Dock. We’d like to thank Lacy Mitchell, from the Dock of the Bay, who served us a large selection of martinis. Dan Feuer announced the following nominating committees’ Board of Directors for 2017. Commodore, Jim Beach; Immediate Past Commodore, Dan Feuer; Vice Commodore, Sam Lister; Secretary/Treasurer, Belinda Lister and Fleet Captain, Vic Davis. There was a quorum of the membership accepting the nominees.
Don’t forget that December 17, 2016; 6-9 pm is the Christmas Party at Bogies. Cost is $13 with a choice of pork or chicken. We will have a band from 7-9 and installation of officers. Tickets need to be purchased by December 7, 2016 for planning purposes. All board members have tickets for sale.
